Accepted to BAU Institute’s summer artist residency in Otranto, Italy! I’ll be sitting by the Adriatic sea in June, playing with incorporating fibers into my little intertidal paintings.
I will be exhibiting at the Smith & Vallee Gallery in Edison, WA beginning April 4. The opening reception is Saturday, April 11 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
I will be exhibiting in the downstairs main gallery at Francine Seders in Seattle. The show opens August 19, and the reception will be on Sunday, August 21, from 2-4 pm. The series being exhibited is called the Little Jesse Bayou Series, which I have worked on since returning from the Louisiana Bayou country last winter. They are small, intimate recollections of this eerie and beautiful waterscape that I traveled deep into, in a small boat that a friend had.
